We're looking for an experienced RRV Operators to join our Rail team on a zero-hours PAYE basis, operating On Track Plant safely and efficiently across projects nationwide.
This role offers flexibility, but you’ll need to be available to work around changing project requirements, including potentially short-notice shifts, weekends and nights. As a safety-critical role, you'll work closely with the Machine/Crane Controller and POS Representative to ensure plant operations are delivered safely and in line with Network Rail requirements.
What you’ll do;
Safely operate OTP on rail projects under the direction of the Machine/Crane Controller or POS Representative.
Complete daily and pre-use checks and ensure machinery is safe and fit for service.
Only operate machinery for which you hold the relevant competence and Authority to Work.
Liaise with controllers, POS representatives and site teams.
Follow instructions, RAMS and safe systems of work.
Ensure plant remains within gauge and operates within lifting limitations and the Lift Plan.
Work safely around ALO requirements and other rail operational constraints.
Maintain a methodical, proactive approach to all work.
Be flexible and responsive to project requirements and changing shift patterns.

What we’re looking for;
Minimum 2 years' relevant OTP experience.
Current Sentinel competence for the relevant OTP machine types.
Only operate machinery for which you are fully qualified and competent.
Network Rail Detailed ALO Knowledge Briefing.
Full clean UK driving licence.
Good understanding of safe working practices and relevant legislation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Organised, reliable and methodical approach.
Good attention to detail.
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
Flexibility and availability to work around changing project requirements, including nights, weekends and potentially short-notice shifts.
