SITE MANAGER
Location: Essex + national travel
Salary: Competitive
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, plus national travel and overnight stays away
We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Fencing Site Manager to lead fencing projects across Rail, Road and wider Infrastructure. You'll manage site teams and oversee the installation, maintenance and removal of fencing, while also supporting civils, arboriculture, landscape and ecology projects. Working closely with the Contract Manager and clients, you'll ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard
What you’ll do;
Support site surveys, work-scope assessments and project planning.
Prepare and review WPPs, RAMS, Task Briefs and Toolbox Talks.
Supervise fencing operations across multiple sites.
Lead, motivate and manage fencing operatives and labourers.
Ensure health, safety and quality standards are maintained.
Liaise with Contract Managers, engineers and clients.
Coordinate materials, plant and equipment.
Monitor progress, inspect works and provide site reports.
Resolve site issues to keep projects on programme and budget.
Act as Site Supervisor, PIC and COSS when required.

What we’re looking for;
Proven experience supervising construction or fencing sites.
Strong fencing knowledge and experience.
PTS and PIC/COSS – essential.
CSCS – essential.
Strong understanding of construction health & safety.
Confident leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organisation and problem-solving abilities.
First Aid qualification.
CAT & Genny / CAT Scan competence.
Desirable:
SMSTS or SSSTS.
Experience using construction software and digital site systems.
Experience across civils, arboriculture, landscaping or ecology projects.
