Looking for a leadership role where you can take ownership of contract delivery and shape regional performance?
As a Contract Manager, you’ll oversee multiple contracts, ensuring safe, efficient delivery while driving client satisfaction, financial performance, and business growth.

This role combines hands-on operational leadership with strategic oversight - leading teams, managing clients, and identifying opportunities to grow the region.

What you’ll do;

• Deliver multiple contracts to agreed standards, timelines, and budgets

• Lead and develop Project Managers, and Field Teams to achieve operational excellence

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates and resolving issues effectively

• Manage landowner complaints and ensure alignment with client expectations and SLAs

• Oversee planning and allocation of resources to ensure efficient delivery across contracts

• Monitor performance across programmes and adjust priorities where required

• Manage financial performance including P&L, forecasting, WIP, and revenue tracking

• Approve quotes and support gross margin performance across the region

• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and BS3998

• Ensure corrective actions are implemented for any non-compliance or performance issues

• Identify opportunities for growth, including cross-selling and service expansion

• Support wider regional strategy through insight into client needs and market opportunities

What we’re looking for;

• Proven experience in a Contract Manager or senior operational leadership role

• Strong background managing multiple contracts or programmes of work

• Experience working in environments on or near bodies of water (essential)

• Strong financial management experience including P&L, forecasting, and WIP

• Excellent client and stakeholder management skills

• Strong leadership experience, including managing performance and developing teams

• Good understanding of Health & Safety and compliance standards

• SMSTS (essential)

• NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely (essential)

• NVQ Level 7 in a construction-related field (or equivalent experience)

• Strong IT skills including MS Office and operational systems (e.g. GIS)

Desirable:

• Experience in marine works, vegetation management, or related environments

• Understanding of marine civils or relevant legislation

• Experience identifying and developing business growth opportunities

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
