Looking for a leadership role where you can take ownership of contract delivery and shape regional performance?
As a Contract Manager, you’ll oversee multiple contracts, ensuring safe, efficient delivery while driving client satisfaction, financial performance, and business growth.
This role combines hands-on operational leadership with strategic oversight - leading teams, managing clients, and identifying opportunities to grow the region.
What you’ll do;
Deliver multiple contracts to agreed standards, timelines, and budgets
Lead and develop Project Managers, and Field Teams to achieve operational excellence
Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates and resolving issues effectively
Manage landowner complaints and ensure alignment with client expectations and SLAs
Oversee planning and allocation of resources to ensure efficient delivery across contracts
Monitor performance across programmes and adjust priorities where required
Manage financial performance including P&L, forecasting, WIP, and revenue tracking
Approve quotes and support gross margin performance across the region
Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and BS3998
Ensure corrective actions are implemented for any non-compliance or performance issues
Identify opportunities for growth, including cross-selling and service expansion
Support wider regional strategy through insight into client needs and market opportunities

What we’re looking for;
Proven experience in a Contract Manager or senior operational leadership role
Strong background managing multiple contracts or programmes of work
Experience working in environments on or near bodies of water (essential)
Strong financial management experience including P&L, forecasting, and WIP
Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
Strong leadership experience, including managing performance and developing teams
Good understanding of Health & Safety and compliance standards
SMSTS (essential)
NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely (essential)
NVQ Level 7 in a construction-related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong IT skills including MS Office and operational systems (e.g. GIS)
Desirable:
Experience in marine works, vegetation management, or related environments
Understanding of marine civils or relevant legislation
Experience identifying and developing business growth opportunities
Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
