Commercial Manager

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

About the Role

As a Commercial Manager, you'll lead the commercial function within one of our business units, working closely with operational leaders to drive financial performance, manage commercial risk and ensure projects are delivered profitably. You'll provide commercial leadership across multiple projects, oversee contracts and reporting, and support the continued growth of the business.

What You'll Do

• Lead the commercial performance of a business unit and support project profitability.

• Manage commercial reporting, forecasts and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).

• Review, negotiate and administer contracts in line with company governance.

• Support bids, tenders and pre-construction activities with commercial expertise.

• Manage valuations, variations, payments and commercial risk.

• Work closely with clients, project teams and subcontractors to deliver successful outcomes.

• Lead and develop members of the commercial team.

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience in Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying.

• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, cost control, forecasting and procurement.

• Experience managing project finances and commercial reporting.

• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• RICS qualification is desirable but not essential.
