About the role
We're looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join Ground Control and play a key role in securing new business. You'll lead the end-to-end bid process, developing high-quality, winning submissions that showcase our expertise and help drive business growth.
Working with teams across the business, you'll manage multiple bids, develop winning strategies, and mentor Bid Writers to deliver outstanding proposals.
What you'll do
Lead the full bid lifecycle from opportunity to submission.
Manage multiple high-value bids while meeting deadlines.
Write and review compelling, customer-focused proposals.
Develop winning bid strategies with key stakeholders.
Mentor and support Bid Writers within the team.
Drive continuous improvement across bid processes and content.
Support client presentations and post-bid reviews.

What we're looking for
Proven experience managing successful, high-value bids.
Excellent bid writing and project management skills.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience managing multiple bids in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative approach with the ability to mentor others.
Experience within FM, grounds maintenance, construction or a similar sector is desirable but not essential.
