Location: Hybrid working, with one day per week in our London office
Salary: Competitive plus bonus

Role Overview
This is a hands-on project delivery support role focused on coordinating infrastructure works in live highway environments. You will play a key part in supporting the safe and efficient delivery of projects, working closely with internal teams, subcontractors and local authority stakeholders.
The role is ideal for someone developing their project management career within construction, highways, utilities or civils, who is looking to build practical experience in infrastructure delivery. You will gain exposure to planning, coordination and on-site activity, while strengthening your capability in managing real-world project delivery challenges.
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident working with multiple stakeholders, with a strong interest in developing within the infrastructure and EV sector.
What you’ll do
Project Coordination & Planning
Support the coordination of infrastructure projects through planning, design and pre-construction stages
Assist with arranging surveys, technical inputs and approvals from internal teams and external stakeholders
Work with local authorities, utilities and design partners to help prepare projects for delivery
Support the tracking of project risks, documentation and approvals
Help ensure project information is accurate, up to date and ready for delivery teams
Project Delivery Support
Support the day-to-day delivery of multiple infrastructure projects across the region
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal delivery teams on site
Attend site visits and meetings to support progress monitoring and communication
Assist with programme tracking, reporting and milestone updates
Support resolution of on-site delivery issues in coordination with senior team members
Help ensure work is delivered safely, to quality standards and in line with programme expectations
Support completion, snagging and handover activities

What we’re looking for
Essential
Experience in project coordination or project management within construction, highways, utilities, civils or infrastructure
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Good communication skills and confidence working with contractors and stakeholders
Understanding of basic project delivery principles (time, cost, quality)
Awareness of Health & Safety in construction environments
Willingness to travel across Surrey and West Sussex
Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
Experience working in highways, utilities, civils or electrical infrastructure projects
Exposure to subcontractor coordination or site-based delivery environments
Interest in EV infrastructure or sustainable transport projects
Understanding of street works or public highway environments (training provided)
Familiarity with project reporting tools or digital delivery systems
