If you thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, love organising, and enjoy turning ideas into seamless experiences, this role is for you. At Ground Control, we’re looking for an Events & PA Assistant who can balance high-volume event coordination with top-tier executive support.
What you’ll do
Take ownership of event delivery while supporting senior leaders with proactive PA support. Your responsibilities will include:
End-to-end event management: Plan, organise, and deliver corporate events across the UK, including venues, logistics, catering, décor, communications, and on-the-day execution.
On-site coordination: Travel to events as needed, managing setup, resolving issues, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Administrative excellence: Handle purchase orders, supplier coordination, meeting room bookings, and other operational tasks efficiently.
Executive support: Manage diaries, inboxes, agendas, and action tracking for senior stakeholders, including EXCO and Board activities.
Strategic planning: Organise conferences, strategy days, and off-site events, overseeing travel, accommodation, hospitality, and logistics.
Relationship management: Build strong connections with internal teams, suppliers, and venues to ensure consistent delivery and high standards.
Ad-hoc problem-solving: Take ownership of last-minute requests, client hospitality, and personal support for senior leaders.
This role is hands-on and varied, offering responsibility, autonomy, and the chance to make every event and interaction a success.

What we’re looking for
Proven experience in events, PA, or EA roles, ideally supporting multiple senior stakeholders or working in a large organisation
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and last-minute changes
Proactive, independent, and solution-focused
Strong communication skills, confident at senior levels
Flexible and willing to travel nationwide
Detail-oriented across events and admin tasks
