Lead people. Shape client relationships. Own the outcome.
You take pride in leading people well, building trusted client relationships, and keeping things running smoothly, even when it’s busy. You like having responsibility, visibility, and the freedom to make decisions that genuinely improve outcomes. That’s exactly the kind of leadership we value.
We’re looking for a Client Services Team Leader based in Billericay who will take full ownership of their own client portfolio, while leading and developing a small, established Client Services team. This is a role with genuine responsibility, combining people leadership, client account management, and service performance.
You’ll be trusted to run your area, supported by experienced operational and commercial teams, and given the space to shape how service is delivered.
What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of your client portfolio, while providing clear leadership and direction to your team.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4–6 Client Services Advisors, setting expectations, supporting performance, and creating a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Manage your own portfolio of clients, acting as their primary point of contact and taking responsibility for service delivery, communication, and relationship management.
Build strong, long-term client relationships, proactively managing expectations, resolving issues early, and identifying opportunities to improve service.
Plan and coordinate team schedules, recruitment, and coverage, particularly during peak winter periods, ensuring consistent service and calm leadership under pressure.
Oversee contracts, renewals, pricing, purchase orders, and service-related projects across your portfolio, ensuring accuracy, sustainability, and positive commercial outcomes.
Use reporting and insights (including Power BI) to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive improvements for both your clients and your team.
Work closely with Operations, Business Development, and central support teams to deliver a seamless, high-quality client experience.
What you’ll get
Real ownership of your own client portfolio, with the authority to make decisions and shape outcomes
The trust to lead your team without micromanagement, supported by experienced operational partners
A clear seasonal working pattern, fast-paced winters, with no weekend working from May to September
A visible leadership role where your impact on clients, people, and performance is clear
Opportunities to grow your influence and leadership capability through hands-on responsibility and cross-functional collaboration
A competitive package within a stable, growing business
What we’re looking for
Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, with direct responsibility for managing client relationships or accounts
A confident, organised leader who takes ownership, sets clear standards, and follows through on commitments
Someone who builds trust quickly with clients and colleagues, professional, communicative, and comfortable handling difficult conversations
A calm, solutions-focused problem solver who can prioritise effectively and make sound decisions under pressure
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail, with the ability to manage contracts, data, and documentation accurately
A collaborative mindset, working effectively across departments to deliver consistent, high-quality service
