Arboriculture Machine Operator 

East Midlands & National

Salary: Competitive + overtime + vehicle 

Contract: Permanent 

Hours: 40/week, Mon–Fri

Join Ground Control as an Arboriculture Machine Operator and play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality tree works across railways, highways, utilities, and construction sites nationwide.

What you’ll do:

• Operate and maintain arboriculture machinery safely and efficiently
• Carry out tree works to project and industry standards
• Keep worksites, vehicles, and tools clean, safe, and compliant
• Work as part of a skilled team to complete projects on time

Essential:

• NPTC Units 201 & 202 (Chainsaw maintenance & cross-cutting)
• NPTC Unit 203 (Felling & processing trees)
• NPTC FMO – Crane-fed chipper/base unit
• First Aid + Forestry qualification
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable: CPCS/NPORS, PTS & Highways Passport, Rope & Harness, Aerial Cutting
