Location: Remote - National Travel

Are you an experienced and detail-driven project leader with a passion for safety, structure, and seamless delivery? We're looking for a Contract Manager – Mechanical Arboriculture to join our growing team and take charge of full project lifecycles across the UK.
In this dynamic role, you’ll manage everything from initial client enquiry to final project closeout—ensuring work is delivered efficiently, safely, and within budget. This is a client-facing role that blends technical oversight, regulatory compliance, and operational coordination.
What You’ll Be Doing
Client Engagement & Site Assessment
Respond to incoming enquiries (phone/email) and schedule site visits.
Conduct on-site assessments and complete hazard evaluations.
Tendering & Quoting
Prepare detailed costing sheets and quotations, factoring in haulage, contractors, and accommodation.
Submit competitive tenders within set timeframes.
Project Setup & Resource Planning
Coordinate logistics and ensure operational readiness for project delivery.
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) for client approval.
Produce all necessary compliance documentation (e.g., LOLER, PUWER, Lifting/ALO plans, Allocation Sheets).
Oversee plant servicing, maintenance, and ensure site-based compliance tasks are completed daily.
Project Delivery & Oversight
Maintain regular communication with clients and internal teams throughout delivery.
Monitor progress, manage changes, and ensure alignment with safety and financial targets.
Closeout & Reporting
Ensure projects are properly signed off and all financials are reconciled upon completion.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in project or contract management (ideally in arboriculture, rail, construction, or mechanical sectors).
Strong organisational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
Solid understanding of regulatory compliance, including RAMS, LOLER, and PUWER.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.
