Learning and Development Admin Apprentice

We have an exciting, brand-new opportunity for an energetic and passionate person to join the L&D Team as an apprentice in our admin team. You’ll join this team as an apprentice and study Business & Administration Level 2. You’ll need to be a self-starter able to motivate yourself to complete your studies at the same time as working 4 days a week. You will ideally need a minimum of 4 GCSE grades D/E or 2/3 including both Maths and English.

Who are we looking for?

Outgoing, confident, and energetic you will be someone who can talk to anyone and works well with a team of people all focused on the same goal.

You will become a key member of our L&D team by helping us to change the face of L&D at Ground Control. You’ll be helping us to administrate a new suite of development programmes being delivered across the organisation.

You will of course be studying and learning as you earn, but we’re looking for someone who knows they have great attention to detail, knows their way around excel, word and outlook (even better if you are a whizz with Microsoft Teams).

You will need to be able to think things through, follow instructions and learn at pace. Ideally you can plan ahead and spot issues before they happen, keeping us running and supporting the business all the time. We are obsessed with the service we deliver in the L&D team, and we’ll teach you exactly how we make sure that we keep our customer service scores high each day.

You’ll also play a part of helping people just like you, starting off in their early career by supporting our other apprentices, graduates and work experience placements.

This team is fun, passionate and love what they do, so you’ll need to show those same qualities to hit the ground running and help them smash their goals.

This role will be a hybrid role where you will work in our office, as well as working at home. We will help you get used to that with support and close management while you settle into your job.
